Philosophy & Goals
OSHCare 4 KIDS strives to build on high quality care practices for families and children that utilise our Before School Care, After School Care, Pupil free days and Vacation care programs. OSHCare 4 KIDS is a supportive and inclusive community providing care for school age children. We aim to provide families and the school and wider community with an affordable, quality children’s service.
Our programs are inclusive of all children and families including cultural, linguistically diverse and various socio-economic backgrounds. We value the importance of play by providing creative and stimulating experiences in a well-supervised and caring environment. We support the growth and development through middle childhood in this environment by creating a culture where children feel safe and respected. We value this stage of growth and development as an opportunity to further explore and develop life skills where children can reach their own individual potential.
OSHCare 4 KIDS acknowledge that children’s learning and development are significant within their school environment, which also transitions to Outside School Hours Care. OSHCare 4 KIDS encompasses “7 Key Areas of Learning and Development”, which has been devised through our OSHCare 4 KIDS Learning and Development Program.
Our professional educators at OSHCare 4 KIDS ensure that quality care is maintained through open communication, building of relationships between families, children, educators, schools and the local and wider community; as well as meeting all government requirements.
We respect the diversity of our families and the wider community, and strive to work in partnership to create a responsive service. Feedback is encouraged to support children, families and educators involved within OSHCare 4 KIDS services.
